The building is situated in the middle of on a very nice, neighborhood oriented block which is very safe and quiet -away from the rush. Times Square, Rockefeller Center or Central Park is within 10 min walk. There's plenty of nice restaurants and cafe's in the area and train station is just 3 blocks away.
